Product Creation
Incorporating innovative and traditional practices across the entire business, Royal Touch invests regularly in producing high-quality fabrics using natural fibers, with tremendous expertise in Cotton, Linen, Wool, and Silk blends.
As a textile manufacturer of fashion fabrics, Royal Touch integrates the areas of R&D, Dyeing, Weaving, Printing, and Finishing, offering a vertical production system that can meet the current demands of the fast-paced fashion industry.
We now bring over 35 years of textile industry expertise into the apparel industry. From 2022 onwards Royal Touch now offers full-service garment manufacturing, providing design, pattern, sample making, fabric and trim sourcing, cutting and sewing, quality control, private label, and customized delivery.
Weaving
Royal Touch produces fabrics that find a place in designers' colorful and endless imagination and add a different character to each design. It uses the magical alchemy of viscose, cotton, linen, modal, wool, and silk fibers with its unique skills while preparing its wide product range.
Able to provide a quick, reliable, and flexible response to market demands and operate in constant balance between innovation and tradition, our Weaving department produces fabrics with a high technical and creative complexity.

Hand-loom
​
We work alongside over 100 self-employed handweavers, each one a true artisan. They take hours to meticulously hand-tie new warp threads to the tail ends of the previous warp. This is one of the many processes that must be done before they can start their next weaving project on the loom. Once they begin weaving, each warp and weft thread is skillfully woven together under the watchful eye of the weaver. It is a cottage industry in India where entire communities are involved in the production of cloth – right from spinning the yarn and dyeing, to the weaving process.
Printing
Our range of prints is hugely diverse, spanning delicate painterly florals, vivid paisleys, and modern geometrics that transcend the seasons and are created on a weekly basis in our Calcutta(Kolkata) studio.
Each member of the team holds a different design trademark and specialist skill set, which is refined through the company's unique approach to team building; a family-like in-house education that is dedicated to nurturing the very best new artistic talent, encouraging a sense of freedom and self-expression that is clearly imprinted through the collections.
Embroidery

We specialize in a range of embroidery techniques, including the exquisite Indian embroideries of Zardozi, Aari, and Kantha. These techniques, practiced exclusively in India, allow us to achieve exceptional results on fabrics used for Ready-to-wear, Accessories, and Home furnishings.
